Is That You, God?

How do you know your vision is from God? Is it what God is calling you to do or did you just make it up by yourself?

A vision from God has these 3 characteristics:

1. It Excites
At least, it excites you. When God gives you a dream or a vision not everyone gets on board right away. It may sound too fantastic to them, or possibly too dangerous. If God is speaking to your spirit you will get very excited because you know He will back you 100%. If God calls you and you don’t get excited it may be because of fear. Cast that aside and trust Him. Soon the excitement will come. “You rejoice with joy unspeakable and full of glory”. I Peter 1:8 “The joy of the Lord is your strength” Nehemiah 8:10

2. It delights.
A vision from God is always a good thing. It brings help, healing, or hope to others. You will always have a good result as our Heavenly Father only gives good gifts to his children. “Delight yourself in the Lord and He will give you the desires of your heart.” Psalm 37:4

3. It invites
At some point, a vision from God invites other people for a response. They have a choice to join with you, encourage you, or receive from you. Some will, some won’t, but God doesn’t send you out completely on your own. If you are starting a ministry you need partners and someone to minister to. If you are starting a business you need customers and maybe employees. “Come unto me all who are weary and heavy laden and I will give you rest.” Matthew 11:28 Jesus had the greatest invitation – to join him in the Kingdom of God. How did you respond?

So, write that vision down and run with it!
